Job Summary:
Al Othaim Entertainment is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to oversee and manage various entertainment-related construction and development projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources, coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors, and managing the entire project lifecycle.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project, ensuring that all construction activities meet industry standards and project specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the required standards. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high-quality outcomes.
- Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Timeline Management: Create detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Reporting: Provide regular project updates to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably within the entertainment or construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing mid to large-scale projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
- Experience working on projects related to entertainment venues, amusement parks, or similar environments.
- Knowledge of the latest construction technologies and sustainable building practices.
