Roles and Responsibilities:A Marketing Specialist keeps their eyes on marketing trends and works withcompanies to create advertising campaigns, pricing strategies based ondemographic data and targeting specific customer demographics.
1. Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:• Plan and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance the hospital’svisibility and promote its services to a broader audience.• Align marketing strategies with the hospital’s objectives, values, and targetaudience to achieve business goals.
2. Manage Digital and Social Media Campaigns:• Oversee the hospital’s presence on digital platforms, including social mediachannels.
3. Content Creation and Management:• Create and manage high-quality content for various marketing channels.• Collaborate with medical and PR teams to ensure content is aligned with hospitalservices and regulatory requirements.
4. Conduct Market Research and Competitive Analysis:• Conduct regular market research to understand healthcare trends, patient needs,and competitor strategies.• Analyze data and insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvement inmarketing efforts.
5. Brand Management:• Maintain and enhance the hospital’s brand image, ensuring consistency across allmarketing materials and communications.• Develop brand messaging that resonates with the target audience and promotespatient trust and loyalty.
6. Organize and Promote Events:• Plan and coordinate hospital events, health seminars, webinars, and communityoutreach programs to engage with patients and local communities.• Promote hospital services through exhibitions, conferences, and other events tobuild brand presence.
7. Collaborate with Internal Teams:• Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., doctors, department heads, publicrelations) to ensure marketing activities are aligned with hospital operations andpatient needs.• Collaborate with the HR and management teams to promote employer brandingand employee engagement through marketing efforts.
8. Manage Budgets and Resources:• Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation ofresources across campaigns and initiatives.• Negotiate with vendors, agencies, and service providers to ensure quality servicesare delivered within budget.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
1. Marketing Principles: Deep understanding of marketing strategies, tactics, andtrends, especially in digital marketing and healthcare marketing.
2. Healthcare Industry: Knowledge of healthcare services, hospital operations, andpatient care practices.
3. Regulatory Requirements: Familiarity with marketing regulations in the healthcaresector.4. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectivelyinteract with patients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
5. Digital Marketing: Proficiency in using digital marketing tools, including emailmarketing, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
6. Content Creation: Strong ability to create engaging and professional content,including articles, blog posts, social media content, and promotional materials.
7. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions, new technologies,and evolving healthcare trends.
8. Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams,including medical staff, management, and other departments.
9. Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships withpatients, healthcare professionals, and external vendors or partners.
Experience:
1. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the healthcare,hospital, or medical services sector.
2. Proven experience in managing digital marketing campaigns, social mediastrategies, and content creation.
3. Demonstrated ability to engage with customers and improve brand awareness.
4. Experience in market research and competitor analysis to understand markettrends and customer needs.
5. Experience in the healthcare industry or within a hospital environment is highlypreferred.
6. Familiarity with hospital branding and patient relationship management.
7. Knowledge of healthcare marketing regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Education:• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or arelated field.• A Master’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related fields is aplus.• Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, Hub Spot, Digital Marketing, orhealthcare marketing certifications) are an advantage.
2. Language Proficiency:• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).• Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.• Knowledge of medical terminology in Arabic and English is a plus.
3. Professional Development:• A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth in the marketingfield, particularly in healthcare marketing trends, digital tools, and best practices.• Willingness to attend workshops, webinars, or seminars related to marketing,healthcare industry trends, and digital technologies.• Keeping up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and techniquesto apply them to the healthcare sector.
4. Other Requirements:Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functionalteams, including medical professionals, management, and external partners. Ability to think creatively and implement innovative marketing solutions.•Problem-solving abilities and capacity to analyze and act on marketing data andperformance metrics. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-pacedenvironment.• Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records, reports,and campaign documents.
