Job Purpose:
Responsible for ensuring that all electrical works associated with the 132 k V UGC project are executed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes and regulations throughout all project phases, including planning, inspection, testing, and handover. Strong knowledge of ISO standards, analytical problem-solving abilities, and excellent attention to detail are required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures. Define quality metrics and quality assurance objectives for manufacturing and construction activities. Establish and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), including continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct inspections and supervise testing of materials, equipment, electrical systems, and workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Monitor site activities and verify compliance with project requirements, quality plans, and applicable codes and regulations. Implement quality control procedures to ensure the consistency and reliability of materials and workmanship. Review and approve project documents, drawings, specifications, materials, and construction methods for quality compliance. Identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Prepare and maintain inspection records, test reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action reports. Conduct internal and external quality audits and support regulatory and client audits. Coordinate with clients, consultants, auditors, and internal stakeholders on quality-related matters. Ensure testing and measuring equipment is calibrated and maintained in accordance with applicable standards. Certify and validate completed work prior to project handover. Provide quality-related training and guidance to project and site personnel. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction
