Overview of the factory and the job

Al-Tiklam Factory for Industry is a leading factory in the retail and services sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, seeking to support and enhance its commercial team by joining a committed and specialized Sales Employee. This position plays a vital role in achieving growth objectives by providing exceptional services to customers, developing relationships with current and new customers, and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Receive clients and provide technical and product advice according to their needs.
  • Present products, explain specifications and benefits, and provide quotations and simplified contracts when needed.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets
  • Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction, and promptly and effectively resolve any issues or inquiries.
  • Organize and arrange product displays and update promotional and discount materials in the showroom/store.
  • Participate in promotional periods and sales planning in line with the company plans.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, analyze results, and provide performance improvement recommendations.
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to deliver integrated service and enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications and requirements

  • University diploma from a recognized institution (two years) or equivalent in related disciplines.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in sales or customer service-related activities or retail selling readiness.
  • Residence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and ability to travel within the region as needed.
  • Proficiency in Arabic speaking and writing; English proficiency is preferred as a primary requirement and its proficiency in communication with international customers, if any.
  • Strong communication skills, team spirit, and high ability to persuade and negotiate.
  • Commitment to policies and regulatory procedures, and accuracy in data entry and reporting.

Skills required

  • Effective sales and negotiation skills and offering solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Ability to read customer needs and build long-term relationships.
  • Time management, prioritization, and ability to handle pressure of appointments and sales.
  • Familiarity with basic office software (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work in a multitasking environment and achieve defined targets within a timeframe.
