Greenland Group is looking for Fabrication Inspection Supervisor (Ministry of Defense, Saudi Arabia)
Job Description / Responsibility Quality Assurance & Inspection Conduct visual and physical inspections of incoming raw materials, in-progress assemblies, and finished products to prevent defects. Verify that welding processes, joint fit-ups, and dimensional alignments conform to industry codes (e.g., ASME, AWS) and drawing tolerances. Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), track root-cause analyses, and oversee necessary rework. Team Supervision & Production Assign daily tasks, schedule fabrication sequences, and manage workforce allocations to meet tight project timelines. Train welders and fitters, monitor their daily performance, and assist in welder qualification testing. Troubleshoot technical issues related to welding (e.g., distortion, pre-heat/post-heat), cutting, and material forming. Safety & Documentation Enforce strict safety protocols, including hot-work permits, lifting/rigging operations, and proper use of PPE. Maintain highly accurate quality records, weld logs, and inspection reports. Coordinate with third-party inspectors, project managers, and clients to verify verifiable quality and progress.
