Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and promoting structural steel fabrication, steel construction, pre-engineered buildings (PEB), and industrial engineering solutions. The Sales Engineer will work closely with contractors, consultants, developers, EPC companies, and industrial clients to achieve sales targets and support project execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in the structural steel, fabrication, and construction sectors.
* Promote the company's products and services, including structural steel fabrication, steel erection, PEB systems, industrial buildings, warehouses, and customized steel solutions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, EPC contractors, and government organizations.
* Generate leads through client visits, networking, and market research.
* Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
* Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and client requirements to provide suitable technical solutions.
* Coordinate with estimation, engineering, production, and project teams to ensure accurate quotations and successful project execution.
* Negotiate prices, commercial terms, and contracts while ensuring profitability.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming construction projects across Saudi Arabia.
* Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
* Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and customer visit reports for management.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
* 5–8 years of sales experience in structural steel fabrication, steel construction, PEB, industrial construction, or related industries.
* Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes, structural steel systems, fabrication drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
* Experience in project sales, technical sales, tendering, estimation, and contract negotiation.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, CRM systems, and ERP software is preferred.
