Main responsibilities and duties

• Prepare and review financial statements and accounting ledgers in accordance with adopted accounting standards and Saudi regulations.
• Prepare and evaluate tax returns and ensure timely compliance.
• Conduct internal and external audits of the above while maintaining work quality and high accuracy.
• Prepare financial and managerial reports for management and provide analyses and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Communicate with clients to collect necessary data, clarify requirements, and achieve their satisfaction.
• Implement control procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and professional standards.
• Participate in preparing work plans and developing accounting procedures and accounting systems.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field from an accredited university.
• Experience of 1 to 3 years in accounting firms or accounting services companies.
• Professional license as an accountant or equivalent in Saudi Arabia is a big plus.
• Good familiarity with basic accounting systems, popular accounting software, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong understanding of Saudi accounting standards and relevant international standards.
• Ability to work in a team, meet deadlines, and high organizational skills.
