Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for an Electrical PLC Engineer to design, maintain, and optimize industrial automation systems. You will develop control software, troubleshoot hardware, integrate modern technologies with legacy systems, and mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate has hands-on PLC programming skills, strong troubleshooting abilities, and experience with industrial communication protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify PLC control software (Allen Bradley and Siemens).
• Design and implement HMI systems and sensor interfaces.
• Conduct fault finding, root cause analysis, and system maintenance.
• Integrate old and new automation devices and technologies.
• Prepare design documentation, including PLC code, HMIs, BOMs, and one-line drawings.
• Support and debug field issues in existing systems.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and on-site prototyping.
• Mentor junior engineers and assist in team development.
• Ensure safety compliance across all automation designs.
• Support management on intellectual property matters

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering, Controls Engineering, or any related field

Experience: +5 years of experience in an engineering environment

Languages : Professional in English

Experience in engineering environments with software design and development

Strong background in hardware troubleshooting and software debugging

Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical schematics

Project management and documentation skills

Skills:

• Proficiency in Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming
• Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of new-generation sensors, transducers, and automation components
• Ability to design and update PLC and HMI programs
• Expertise in industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
• Capability to integrate legacy and modern devices seamlessly
• Strong skills in creating automation packages and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills
• Strong teamwork and mentoring abilities
