About the Role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate fabrication and installation projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (KSA). The role involves managing project activities from planning through completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to client requirements. The ideal candidate should have experience in steel fabrication and site execution and be comfortable coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor project activities from award to project completion.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with the design, production, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare project schedules and monitor progress against planned targets.
• Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Ensure fabrication and installation activities comply with project specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor material requirements and coordinate timely procurement and delivery.
• Identify project risks, delays, and technical issues and propose solutions.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, site reports, and project documentation.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with clients and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and company procedures at site.
• Support the commercial team with variation orders, claims, and project closeout activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in steel fabrication, structural steel, or construction projects.
• Experience managing fabrication and site installation activities.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of project planning and coordination.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to be based and travel within Saudi Arabia as required.

Preferred

• Experience in structural steel, architectural metalwork, or industrial projects.
• Previous GCC or Saudi Arabia project experience.
• Knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project.
• Familiarity with quality and safety standards in construction and fabrication projects.
