We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Engineer to join our team, to be based in Riyadh, KSA. Procurement Engineer supports the procurement department in sourcing materials, services, and equipment at competitive prices while ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery. This role assists in vendor coordination, Supplier contract negotiations, purchase order processing, and maintaining procurement documentation.
Key Responsibilities:Assist in sourcing strategic high-value suppliers and obtaining quotations. Prepare and issue Request for Quotations Knowledge on Supplier contracts negotiations and finalization is must Candidate shall be well versed with major commercial terms Compare supplier quotations (price, delivery, payment terms). Prepare comparison statements for management review. Generate and process Purchase Orders Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation and delivery status. Support vendor registration and prequalification process. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies. Assist in cost-saving initiatives. Resolve basic supplier or delivery-related issues.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Electrical Engineering.8-10 years of procurement or purchasing experience Basic knowledge of procurement procedures. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage Good knowledge of MS Office.
