Overview about the company and the role

Our leading company in the technical services and engineering sector in Saudi Arabia provides advanced cooling and air conditioning solutions for commercial and industrial institutions. 

We are looking for a full-time Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician to join our technical team, as part of our integrated professional development and training program. 

The program aims to strengthen technical and technical skills and overcome challenges of cooling and air conditioning projects in accordance with the highest safety and quality standards.

Main responsibilities and duties

• Perform installation, maintenance, and diagnostic work for cooling and air conditioning systems according to drawings and technical specifications.
• Inspect, adjust, ensure equipment operates at high efficiency, detect faults, and prepare detailed technical reports.
• Organize preventive maintenance schedules, ensure compliance, and document all procedures.
• Handle cooling and air conditioning control systems and monitor performance using measurement tools and associated software.
• Coordinate with the projects team to ensure completion of work within the specified timelines and with high quality.
• Adhere to occupational safety and health standards, wear protective gear, and comply with approved environmental procedures.

Qualifications and requirements

• A university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor's).
• Previous practical experience in refrigeration and air conditioning is an advantage, with the possibility of accepting a trainee with strong fundamentals.
• Knowledge of basics of refrigeration systems, principles of air conditioning, compressors, cooling units, and distribution systems.
• Familiarity with measurement and diagnostic tools and environmental working conditions.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and engineering drawings and document work accurately.
• Proficiency in technical English at a limited to intermediate level to enhance technical communication with technical teams and suppliers.
