We are currently seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team for the Jeddah Project.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams including Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines. Review and approve design drawings before construction issuance. Ensure compliance with client requirements, regulations, and applicable standards. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders. Monitor design progress and ensure alignment with project schedules. Manage design modifications and change requests. Collaborate with BIM teams to resolve design clashes. Provide technical support to site teams and respond to RFIs. Review technical submittals, material specifications, and shop drawings. Implement Value Engineering initiatives to optimize cost and quality. Prepare periodic design progress reports.
Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in design management within construction projects. Strong experience in multidisciplinary coordination and design review. Familiarity with BIM coordination, RFIs, shop drawings, and value engineering. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
