About the Role
Crossing Hurdles is seeking a skilled Arabic Language Annotator for a contract position. This remote role contributes to AI development by ensuring the accuracy and quality of Arabic language data. As an Arabic (MSA) Transcription Expert, you will play a key role in transcribing, reviewing, and annotating audio content to meet high standards of precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio content in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) with exceptional accuracy and fluency.
- Review and correct machine-generated transcriptions to ensure correctness and clarity.
- Add relevant metadata tags and annotations to enhance the transcribed data for AI processing.
- Identify contextual information in audio files and highlight linguistic nuances as necessary.
- Uphold rigorous attention to detail to guarantee the highest quality of transcription and annotation.
- Collaborate with the customer's team, providing clear written and verbal feedback on data quality.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Proven experience in audio transcription with a demonstrable record of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong expertise in adding and managing metadata tags and annotations for audio or text content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to identify and correct errors in machine-generated transcription outputs.

Work Arrangement and Compensation
This is a contract position with a commitment of 10-40 hours per week. The role is fully remote. Compensation ranges from $10 to $20 per hour.
