About the Role
Crossing Hurdles is seeking a skilled Arabic Transcriber for a remote contract position. This role is integral to enhancing data processing capabilities, particularly for AI applications. The position requires a strong command of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and a meticulous approach to ensure high-quality transcribed and annotated audio content.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio content in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) with accuracy and fluency.
- Review and correct machine-generated transcriptions to ensure correctness and clarity.
- Add relevant metadata tags and annotations to enrich transcribed data for AI processing.
- Identify and extract contextual information from audio files, noting linguistic nuances.
- Maintain rigorous attention to detail throughout all tasks to guarantee transcription and annotation quality.
- Collaborate with the customer's team, providing feedback on data quality.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Fluent proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), both written and spoken.
- Proven experience in audio transcription with a record of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Expertise in adding and managing metadata tags and annotations for audio or text content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to accurately identify and correct errors in machine-generated transcription outputs.

Work Arrangement and Compensation
