Oracle Construction and Engineering Presales Solution Consultant

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Presales Solution Consultant to support Oracle s Construction and Engineering sales team across Europe, with a primary focus on English-speaking opportunities, particularly the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them understand how Oracle Construction and Engineering solutions can modernise project delivery, improve collaboration, strengthen controls, and support better business outcomes.
This role requires strong knowledge of the Construction and Engineering industry, project delivery processes, collaboration platforms, and project management information systems. The candidate should be confident engaging with clients, presenting at marketing events and seminars, supporting sales opportunities from initial contact through product demonstration to close, and contributing to RFx and bid responses.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the full presales cycle by understanding customer requirements, shaping solution proposals, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and providing functional and technical input throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities include:

Meeting with customers to validate business, technical, and solution requirements through workshops, webinars, calls, and in-person meetings.

Demonstrating Oracle Construction and Engineering solutions, including Aconex, Primavera Cloud, and related CEGBU products, based on customer requirements and industry use cases.

Supporting RFx, RFP, and bid proposal responses from a functional, technical, and industry perspective.

Creating and supporting customer evaluations, pilots, and proof of concepts.

Acting as the solution owner throughout the sales process, ensuring that proposed solutions align with client needs and project delivery challenges.

Advising customers on construction management, project collaboration, document control, BIM, cost control, contract management, scheduling, risk management, and portfolio management best practices.

Presenting Oracle solutions at client meetings, marketing events, seminars, and industry forums.

Maintaining accurate account and opportunity updates within Oracle s internal Sales Cloud system.

Supporting enablement activity for partners, new team members, and wider EMEA stakeholders.

Providing insight into regional construction and engineering market dynamics, client priorities, and industry trends.
Required Experience and Skills

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in the Construction and Engineering industry or Construction Technology sector, with a focus on project delivery, collaboration, and project controls.

The candidate should have expertise in:

Construction Management, Portfolio Management, and Project Collaboration.

Cost Control, Contract Management, Document Control, and Project Collaboration tools.

Scheduling techniques and tools.
-
Risk Management best practices.
-
Data Analytics and Business Intelligence tools and techniques.

Building Information Modelling, including BIM-related collaboration processes.

Designing and implementing Project Management Information Systems.

PMO setup and operation, project management best practices, strategic planning, and execution.

Industry Knowledge
The candidate should have a strong understanding of the construction industry across multiple verticals and project stakeholders, including general contractors, subcontractors, real estate developers, asset owners, consultants, and engineering organisations.
Experience in one or more of the following verticals is required:
