Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities Establish an accurate understanding of the Customer s concerns and requirements, through regular and direct contact with RSAF HQ and Base personnel. Be familiar with the Base/Unit mission requirements, knowledgeable of logistics policies and procedures and Quality Management concepts. Audit all functional areas for technical and management compliance in accordance with the relevant RSAF Regulations. Ensure that all Logistics processes are developed, approved and implemented in accordance with laid down RSAF authorisation and Quality Assurance objectives. Execute audits to determine the compliance of People, Weapons Systems and Equipment; as a means of measuring the quality of tasks being accomplished. Support the RSAF mission with the provision of recommendations and information on all audited areas. Ensure that all RSAF functional areas operate in accordance with RSAF procedures and policies and any other local procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Attended a formal course in Auditing or in Quality.
- Must have attended formal courses in aviation maintenance.
- Experience conducting audit tasks as an individual or as part of a team.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years practical and experience performing inspection type duties on aircraft and/or equipment.
- Computer literate and an experienced user of the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
DESIRABLE
- Degree educated.
- Human Factors Trained
