The multi discpline estimator continuously monitors, implement a robust estimating process for the overall status of design projects in the region. He continuously liaises with project managers for design projects, to track and analyze projects’ progress, including schedule, budget and risk. He closely works with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to prepare comprehensive, accurate bids/tenders, handle material take-offs, assess risks, and liaise with vendors and subcontractors. This role ensures profitable, competitive project proposals.

Implement a robust estimating process to meet project requirements and ensure adherence to professional standards. Use effective estimation approaches to optimize costs and enhance operational efficiency. Prepare and update estimates regularly to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements. Develop cost estimates and coordinate project proposals to ensure effective estimating practices. Develop quantity take-off from 2D drawings and Revit models and follow international method of measurements including but not limited to NRM, POMI, CESMM Aware of international estimating references including but not limited to RICS NRM, SPONS, RSMEANS. Develop quantity take-off and cost estimated using CostX Plan and drive the execution of project estimating activities, including changes and studies such as value engineering, to ensure compliance with the department’s standards and business goals. Oversee the preparation of cost estimates to provide a forecast of the cost for a defined scope of work and during project development. Advice on changes to cost estimating initiatives to reduce project costs and improve efficiencies. Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Maintain, record, and archive cost estimation historical data for future use and benchmarking.
