Full Job Description
Role Overview:
The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations across the group, ensuring strong financial control, project profitability tracking, and strategic support to management. The role requires hands-on experience in project-based accounting, ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics), and multi-entity reporting.
1. Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Produce accurate P&L statements (company-wide and project-level)
- Monitor gross margins and net profitability across projects
- Ensure compliance with local regulations (KSA, Lebanon, GCC if applicable)
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
2. Project Accounting & Profitability Tracking
- Implement and monitor project-based accounting structure
- Track:
- Estimated vs actual costs
- Committed costs vs invoiced costs
- Project cash flow
- Analyze project profitability and margin leakage
- Work closely with project managers & procurement teams
- Ensure proper revenue recognition (percentage of completion / milestones)
3. ERP & Systems (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Manage and optimize Microsoft Dynamics (NAV / Business Central)
- Ensure:
- Accurate data entry and posting discipline
- Proper chart of accounts and project coding
- Develop financial dashboards and BI reports
- Coordinate with IT/consultants for system improvements
4. Cost Control & Internal Audit
- Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures
- Monitor operational and project cost controls
- Conduct internal audits across departments
- Ensure proper COGS calculation and allocation
- Identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
5. Treasury & Banking Relationships
- Manage cash flow planning and liquidity
- Maintain relationships with banks in KSA, Lebanon, and abroad
- Oversee:
- LCs (Letters of Credit)
- Bank guarantees (performance, advance payment)
- Financing facilities
- Optimize working capital and funding structure
6. Accounting & Compliance
- Supervise accounting team (AP, AR, GL)
- Ensure timely:
- Invoicing
- Collections
- Supplier payments
- Oversee VAT, tax filings, and audits
- Coordinate external auditors and financial statement preparation
7. Strategic & Management Support
- Provide financial insights to CEO and senior management
- Support business decisions, pricing, and tendering
- Evaluate risk on large projects and contracts
- Assist in expansion strategy and new market entry
Requirements:
- 8–12+ years of experience in finance/accounting
- Experience in project-based industries (construction, engineering, lighting)
- Strong Microsoft Dynamics experience (mandatory)
- Proven track record in project accounting and profitability tracking
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting (CPA/ACCA is a plus)
- GCC/KSA experience is a plus
