Job description
CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To perform complex, technical and highly detailed duties in support of the payroll functions, to ensure employees are paid according to established guidelines and in a timely manner, and to carry out related works as required.
ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Diploma in accountancy or equivalent. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 0-1 years of increasingly responsible payroll/accounting experience. Must have word processing, spreadsheet and computer experience.
COMPETENCIES:
Ability to prioritize and complete workload assignments in a high volume environment to meet deadlines. Ability to analyze and solve mathematical issues. A commitment to provide excellent customer service. Ability to get along well with others. Must be a team player and self starter with ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions. Respond faster to changing regulations and policies. Good communication skills (Written and oral).
