Overview A high-growth, tech-enabled consulting platform is looking to hire an Assistant Manager to support its Financial Services advisory practice. This role focuses on delivering technical accounting advisory and financial reporting support to banking and financial services clients, with exposure to complex IFRS and transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities Support delivery of accounting advisory engagements across banking, insurance, and investment clients Work on IFRS implementations (9, 15, 16, 17) and financial reporting requirements Support financial instruments accounting, including valuation, classification, and impairment Assist in preparation and review of financial statements under IFRSContribute to finance transformation and process optimisation projects Conduct technical accounting research and produce client-ready deliverables (memos, papers) Work closely with clients to assess reporting processes and provide practical solutions Support senior stakeholders in project delivery and client management Supervise and guide junior team members Assist in business development activity, proposals, and presentations
Candidate Profile4–6 years’ experience in accounting advisory or audit Minimum 2–3 years’ Financial Services exposure (banking clients preferred) Strong grounding in IFRS (particularly financial instruments and insurance) Background in Big 4 or leading consulting firm preferred Experience within UAE or GCC markets advantageous Strong analytical, communication, and project delivery skills Proficiency in Excel and Power Point Professional qualification (CA / ACCA / CPA required) Arabic is advantageous Must be Saudi National
