Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Design Review Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale housing and infrastructure projects. The role is site-based and focuses on design review, coordination, and ensuring compliance from a client/PMC perspective.
Responsibilities:
Review architectural designs across all project stages (Concept, Schematic Design, detailed design, and IFC) Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and Saudi regulations Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines Review and comment on shop drawings and construction submittals Support site activities and resolve design-related issues during construction Ensure design intent is maintained throughout execution Identify design gaps, risks, and provide proactive mitigation solutions Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives Participate in technical coordination meetings with stakeholders and consultants Ensure timely resolution of design issues to support project delivery schedules
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in architecture Experience in mega housing, commercial, or infrastructure projects Strong background in architectural design review and site coordination Knowledge of Saudi Building Code and local regulations Experience in BIM coordination (Revit) Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience in a Client/PMC environment is highly preferred
