We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer with strong expertise in fit-out projects to join our team. The role involves developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring fit-out works are delivered in line with approved timelines and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed project schedules for fit-out projects using Primavera P6 or similar planning software
• Prepare baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans
• Monitor project progress, analyze delays, and provide time impact analysis (TIA)
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to align planning activities
• Review contractor schedules, progress reports, and method statements
• Track milestones, critical paths, and resource loading
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and presentations
• Support claims, variations, and extensions of time (EOT) with proper schedule analysis
• Ensure planning activities comply with contract requirements and project standards
Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 12-15 years of experience, with strong focus on fit-out projects
• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer on commercial, hospitality, or retail fit-out projects
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, and reporting tools
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or GCC region
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts
• Ability to manage multiple fit-out projects simultaneously.
