We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase requisitions, supplier selection, and purchase orders.
- Support sourcing activities for indirect and direct materials, goods, and services in line with defined specifications
- Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and performance evaluation processes.
- Monitor supplier delivery performance and escalate issues to ensure timely procurement and minimal production disruption.
- Assist with price and contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and cost savings opportunities.
- Analyze spend data to identify opportunities for savings, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Process purchase orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
· Track purchase orders, follow up with suppliers and monitor delivery status
· Coordinate with suppliers and forwarders for shipping arrangements before delivery time to avoid delays
· Check supplier’s documents and BL for each order and make sure it’s accurately correct
· Apply for Saber approval for each import shipment
· Support import activities, customs clearance follow-ups and logistic coordination
· Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations
· Collaborate with Production, Finance, Warehouse and other departments to understand and fulfill procurement needs
· Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports and documentation
· Create and process Purchase Orders in Odoo
· Prepare procurement reports including PO status, delivery delays, and supplier performance
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field
2 to 4 years of experience in procurement and logistics
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills
· Knowledge of international procurement regulations, Incoterms
· Knowledge of refrigeration engineering materials is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ERP/Procurement systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to work under supervision and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
