Description and Requirements
Role Summary
The PR & Communications Specialist – Saudi Arabia, leads internal and external communications for Lenovo in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supporting both headquarters and local manufacturing operations. The role is responsible for driving awareness, influence, and engagement across Lenovo’s corporate, consumer, and B2B business groups and brands through strategic PR execution and integrated marketing support. Responsibilities include content development, social media management, media relations, announcements, and communications around key marketing initiatives such as events, campaigns, and product launches, as well as executive thought leadership and high‑profile media engagements. The role reports to the MEA Communications Manager and works closely with KSA marketing stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute internal and external communications for Lenovo Saudi Arabia, supporting headquarters and manufacturing mandates, including executive and internal communications.
- Coordinate all KSA public relations activities and oversee relationships with external PR and social media agencies.
- Execute the media relations strategy, securing high-level placements across print, broadcast, and online media.
- Manage media relationships, inquiries, and interview requests while cultivating new contacts across business and industry media.
- Support executive communications and thought leadership, including drafting press releases, byline articles, keynote presentations, speeches, interview preparation materials, and post-interview amplification.
- Coordinate and support executive interviews and media engagements, working closely with internal stakeholders and agencies.
- Manage and execute KSA social media activities, including content publishing, localization, audience engagement across platforms, and basic performance tracking.
- Support communications for key marketing events, including announcements, messaging, media engagement, post-event coverage, and bilingual content creation in Arabic and English aligned with Lenovo branding.
Key Requirements
- 4 years of experience in communications, marketing, or social media, preferably in a corporate or agency environment.
- Experience in supporting senior executives/stakeholders.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Proven ability to execute internal and external communications, including announcements, storytelling, and content delivery across channels & exposure to issues management / reactive communications and working with internal stakeholders to support timely responses.
- Ability to coordinate PR agencies/Social Media agencies or partners (briefing, follow-ups, deliverables, quality control) & familiarity with influencer support and collaborations.
- Experience supporting events and campaigns (messaging, announcements, media attendance, post-event coverage/content).
- Hands-on experience with social media platforms and content calendars and influencer management
- Exposure to executive communications, interviews, or PR support is a plus.
