Job Details

To support the growth of the Equipment Business Unit by driving sales execution, marketing initiatives, client engagement, brand building, and development of Supply & Apply opportunities, through market analysis, client relationship management, and coordinated sales activities, in order to achieve Board-approved commercial targets.


Sales Execution, Client Development & Supply–Apply Opportunities


  • Execute approved sales plans to support achievement of revenue, utilisation, and growth targets.


  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline for:


    • Equipment rental


    • Supply & Apply (equipment with application / scope-based supply)


    • Associated equipment services


  • Identify and pursue Supply & Apply opportunities across earthworks, roadworks, infrastructure, and industrial projects in coordination with Operations and Projects.


  • Engage with clients at early project stages to position Supply & Apply solutions where commercially viable.


  • Maintain regular contact with key clients to understand scope requirements, anticipate demand, and support repeat business.


  • Act as a key client interface for assigned accounts and Supply & Apply discussions.


Marketing & Brand Building


  • Execute marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness, market visibility, and client acquisition.


  • Position the Equipment Business Unit as a capable Supply & Apply partner, not only a rental provider.


  • Support development of marketing materials, presentations, proposals, and case studies covering rental and Supply & Apply offerings.


  • Ensure consistent brand and commercial messaging across all client-facing communications.


  • Coordinate participation in industry events, exhibitions, and client forums.


Market Research & Opportunity Identification


  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, pricing models, and demand patterns related to:


    • Equipment rental


    • Supply & Apply / application-based equipment services


  • Gather and analyse market intelligence to identify new Supply & Apply opportunities.


  • Provide structured feedback and insights to the Director to support commercial focus and prioritisation.


Bid & Proposal Support


  • Support preparation of sales and commercial inputs for RFQs, RFPs, bids, and proposals.


  • Coordinate with the Commercial Manager to ensure Supply & Apply commercial offers are aligned with contractual terms.


  • Support post-tender clarifications and client communications for awarded rental and Supply & Apply scopes.


Internal Coordination


  • Work closely with Operations, Projects, Excellence, Repair & Maintenance teams to:


    • Validate feasibility of Supply & Apply scopes


    • Align sales commitments with execution capability


  • Ensure smooth handover of awarded Supply & Apply and rental scopes to execution teams.


  • Support resolution of client-related commercial issues.


People Management & Development


  • Manage and support assigned team members, setting clear objectives and performance expectations.


  • Build team capability in client engagement, Supply & Apply selling, and solution-based sales.


  • Provide continuous feedback and coaching to enhance commercial effectiveness.


Policies, Processes & Compliance


  • Ensure all sales, marketing, and Supply & Apply activities comply with approved commercial policies and governance frameworks.


  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and information security requirements.


  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline tracking and reporting.



Degree:


Bachelor, Marketing / Business Administration / Finance   


Years of Experience:


·        10+ years of sales and marketing experience in equipment, construction, or infrastructure sectors


·        Technical certificates in sales and marketing from
