The IT Specialist is responsible for overseeing the organization’s domain infrastructure, network architecture, and IT security systems. This role ensures the reliability, performance, and security of enterprise networks and directory services. The IT Chief will lead IT operations related to Active Directory, DNS, network administration, cybersecurity controls, and infrastructure management while aligning IT services with business objectives.

1. Domain & Identity Management
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP services.
- Oversee domain architecture, trust relationships, and domain controllers.
- Implement identity and access management policies.
- Ensure secure authentication mechanisms and account lifecycle management.
- Monitor domain health, replication, and performance.
2. Network Infrastructure Management
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Manage network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability.
- Plan and implement network upgrades and capacity improvements.
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configurations.
3. Security & Compliance
- Implement network and domain security best practices.
- Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint security integration.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and relevant security standards.
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents and coordinate mitigation.
4. Infrastructure Monitoring & Optimization
- Deploy monitoring tools for network and domain infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and outages.
- Ensure proper backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
5. Team Leadership & IT Governance
- Establish IT operational procedures and standards.
- Coordinate with other departments for infrastructure requirements.
- Manage IT projects related to network and domain services.
6. Vendor & Technology Management
- Evaluate and manage IT vendors and service providers.
- Oversee procurement of networking equipment and infrastructure software.
- Ensure systems are updated with latest patches and security updates
