Overview of the Role:

The Senior Manager – Social Media & Content will take full ownership of BYD KSA’s social media strategy, influencer marketing and content ecosystem, ensuring strong brand storytelling, cultural relevance, and consistent execution across all social media platforms.

While paid social media buying and performance management sit with other marketing functions, this role will closely support and collaborate on paid social by defining strategy, narratives, content direction, and assets to ensure alignment across organic and paid channels.

 

What you will do: 

 

Social Media Strategy (Full Ownership)

  • Own and lead BYD KSA’s end-to-end social media strategy across all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Define platform roles, content pillars, tone of voice, and storytelling frameworks
  • Ensure alignment with brand strategy, product launches, campaigns, and activations


Content Strategy & Creation (Organic + Paid Support)

  • Take full ownership of social content ideation, planning, and creation
  • Develop always-on, campaign-based, and launch-specific content calendars
  • Lead creation of social-first assets
  • Ensure content is on-brand, culturally relevant, and platform-native
  • Supply high-quality creative assets and narratives to support paid social campaigns


Influencer / KOL Marketing & Management

  • Own BYD KSA’s influencer / KOL strategy aligned with brand and campaign objectives
  • Identify, onboard, and manage relevant Saudi-based influencers / KOLs, creators, and KOCs
  • Define briefs, usage rights, timelines, and deliverables
  • Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, messaging, and cultural expectations
  • Coordinate content to amplify launches, events, showroom openings, and campaigns


Creative & Production Management

  • Brief and manage content creators/ KOLs, videographers, photographers, editors, and social/influencer agencies / in-house setup
  • Lead content shoots and influencer /KOL activations · Oversee post-production and fast-turnaround content workflows Community Management & Brand Voice
  • Own BYD KSA’s brand voice across social media channels · Oversee moderation, community engagement, and response frameworks
  • Coordinate with PR and CX on issues management and escalation Collaboration with Paid Social & Cross-Functional Teams
  • Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to align influencer and content strategies with paid social 
  • Ensure messaging, creative direction, and storytelling are consistent across organic, influencer, and paid social · Collaborate with MarComms, PR, CX, Product, Events, and the wider BYD KSA teams for integrated execution Reporting 
  • Track and report on organic social and influencer KPIs (reach, engagement, growth, sentiment, content performance) 
  • Use insights to optimize content formats, influencer mix, and storytelling 
  • Share learnings with the paid media team to improve overall social effectiveness


Skills

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s in Marketing or Advertising

 

Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 

  • Minimum of 3 yrs. of Social Media & Content experience

 

Required Skills to be Successful:

  • Strong knowledge and practice of social platforms (Mandatory: TikTok, Meta, Snapchat, Linkedin, X)
  • Customer-facing and back-end platforms 
  • Agency background, specializing on Social & Content 
  • Highly Creative especially on snackable content 
  • Works well with cross-functional team.
  • Self-started, requires minimum supervision
  • Strong project management and reporting skills. Organised and deadline-driven 
  • Preferably Arabic speaker
