About the job ARCHITECTURAL BIM MODELER
Architectural BIM Modeler is responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating detailed 3D architectural models using BIM software for building projects. The role includes preparing architectural drawings, ensuring coordination with structural and MEP disciplines, and maintaining compliance with BIM standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and manage detailed 3D architectural BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Model architectural components including walls, doors, windows, floors, ceilings, roofs, staircases, ramps, façades, curtain walls, and interior fit-out elements.
- Prepare and extract general arrangement drawings, plans, elevations, sections, detailed drawings, and schedules.
- Coordinate models with structural, MEP, and interior design teams to ensure design integration.
- Participate in clash detection processes and coordination meetings using tools such as Navisworks.
- Ensure models meet required levels of development (LOD 300, 350, 400).
- Incorporate design revisions and site feedback into updated models.
- Adhere to company BIM standards and ISO 19650 workflows where applicable.
Key Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Architecture.
- 3–5 years of practical experience using Revit.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit Architecture and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of BIM standards, modeling workflows, documentation processes, and construction detailing.
- Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects preferred.
- GCC project experience preferred.
