Summary

Provides professional support to the department on development and maintenance of all Hospital Policies.Supervise all routine Hospital operational activities during off duty hours, weekends, and holiday are performed in accordance with hospital policy and Administrative requirements.



Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1. Manages an effective the AOD monitoring system of any deficiencies and complaints related to (a) medical staff response to patient needs, and (b) Hospital operations during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays. 



2. Supervises the assign principal contact person on behalf on Hospital Administration during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays. Serves as Administrator-on-call.
 3. Direct, establishes and maintains a staff rotation schedule to cover AOD during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays. 
4. Oversee the daily reports of Hospital operations during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Executive Director, Medical and Clinical Affairs (EDMCA). 
5. Monitors enforcement of administrative admissions criteria for Hospital inpatients through Department of Emergency Medicine and MEDEVAC sources. 
6. Acts on emergency matters during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays concerning Hospital employee/dependents with or without coordination with the concerned signatory authority, as appropriate. 
7. Supervises the Administrator of the Department of Emergency Medicine during off-duty hours, weekends and holidays. 
8. Coordinates with Security Supervisor regarding emergency issues and patient’s safety. 
9. Assists the Medical Administrator-on-Call regarding all medical issues including medical conflicts, referrals and patient care issues. 
10. Coordinates with Nursing Supervisor for inpatient complaints.
 11. Manage Case Management personnel and Admission Office with discharges, transfer and admission of patient.
 12. Assists official Hospital’s Guests and International Visiting Professors and Speakers in any international on national conferences and symposiums.
 13. Receives all incoming calls directed to the CEO, DCEO, COO, and EDMCA. 
14. Collects and analyses pertinent information and makes recommendations to improve the Hospital operation and submit summary report as needed/requested. 
15. Follows all Hospital’s related Policies and Procedures.
Education

Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or other related discipline is required.



Experience Required

Nine (9) years of related experience with Master’s, or eleven (11) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Saudi National Only.
