Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a Senior Manager - Structures for the MBS Stadium project to oversee and manage the structural engineering aspects throughout the design and construction phases.
This key role will involve collaborating with a diverse team of architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure that the stadium's structural integrity meets the highest standards of safety, functionality, and innovation.
**Key Responsibilities**: Lead the structural engineering design process for the MBS Stadium, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
Conduct thorough reviews of structural designs, analyses, and drawings, providing constructive feedback and recommendations.
Oversee the integration of advanced engineering techniques and materials in the design and construction phases.
Work closely with project managers and other discipline leads to align structural considerations with overall project objectives.
Facilitate effective communication between engineering teams, architects, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Evaluate and manage risks associated with structural design and construction activities.
Ensure that all structural solutions align with sustainable design principles and contribute positively to the stadium's environmental footprint.
Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development in structural engineering practices.
Manage project timelines and budgets related to structural engineering deliverables.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
A minimum of 12 years relevant experience in structural engineering, preferably with stadium or large-scale sports facility projects.
Strong understanding of structural design principles, materials, and construction techniques.
Proven experience leading engineering teams and coordinating multidisciplinary projects.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex structural challenges.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of successful stakeholder engagement.
Familiarity with construction management practices and project management software.
Professional Engineering License (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing project demands.
