About the role:
- The Regional Trade Marketing Manager role is responsible for developing and executing business and trade marketing strategies and integrated merchandising programs that drive profitable growth and increase the long-term value of our brands
- Development and execution of trade and channel-specific plans at regions/countries. Working closely with the RGMs, Head office team and our merchandising/POSM partners to contribute significantly to the achievement of channel financial objectives and our goal of becoming our trade partner’s most valued supplier
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development and implementation of the regional Trade Marketing strategies to achieve defined business growth objectives across all sales channels in the Region.
- Develop and implement tailor‑made promotional programs for all channels, and ensure that they are in line with overall business strategy
- Develop Look of Success (LoS) by channel and ensure full compliance to the LoS guide.
- Work with marketing and Sales team to agree the point of sale materials (POSM) required to support the selling effort, then execute all implementation of POSM in market (from design, to production, logistics, how to fill strategies etc.). Planned product‑sampling sessions.
- Gather market intelligence and provide market insight to the Salesforce, Marketing teams and senior management to shape winning marketing programs and initiatives.
- Manage all assigned trade marketing resources, materials and equipment in an efficient manner to maximize the use and extend the life of the organization’s assets. Support and lead photo recognition capability.
- Developing personnel capability and coaching others in his/her area of expertise to sustainably drive business results.
- Work with Sales teams to negotiate and sell‑in marketing activations and customer growth initiatives to our trade partners. Monitoring the Merchandising Supervisors to organize merchandising Call Plan.
- Achievement of a consistent high standard of daily, juice, food and bakery displays in the market through photo display KPIs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in BA or a related field
- At least 5 years’ Category management and/or Trade Marketing experience with a reputable FMCG company in the Middle East.
- English Fluency
