• Designing of mechanical, structural, multi-disciplined systems, and equipment with respect to requirements and scope on small to large projects • Reviewing, verifying and analyzing all aspects of estimation • Scheduling, and progressing of projects • Developing and managing deliverables packages – Project Plans, scope documents, tenders, shop-drawings, engineering drawings, materials submittals and calculation notes • Effective communication with project manager(s) and team members on all stages of a project to identify and address problems and bottlenecks • Providing technical support to staff at all levels • Solving design, technical issues and specifications conflicts • Make site visits to facilities and construction sites as required for client meetings, site measurements, testing and commissioning and inspections • Adhere to all quality assurance procedures related to design function • Value engineering for the best possible cost • Providing final “as built” documentation for completeness and accuracy • Assisting project controls with weekly/monthly reports
Skills
Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering • 7+ years of professional experience • Strong working knowledge of interpreting and producing engineering document and design drawings • Comfortable with leading projects involving all engineering disciplines • Familiar with Building Codes, and regulations • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Able to work and contribute individually and as part of a team
