We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, from planning and design to construction and completion. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
Assist in Developing and manage detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resources,
and risk assessments.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, contractors, and consultants.
Coordinate effectively with design, engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance teams to
ensure project milestones are achieved.
Monitor project functions including Project Management, Site Management, Project Controls,
Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management to ensure proper coordination and staffing.
Track engineering and construction progress against approved budgets and forecasted schedules;
identify variances and propose corrective actions.
Prepare and manage engineering budgets, project schedules, and project control baselines.
Ensure accurate, timely, and consistent project reporting in line with organizational standards.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications,
RFIs, variations, and change orders.
Coordinate and communicate with regional and site management on project status, key trends, risks,
and approved changes.
Maintain continuous coordination with construction and contractor management teams, providing
technical assistance as required.
Identify, analyze, and resolve technical and coordination issues arising during project execution.
Ensure full compliance with Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health policies, manuals,
and procedures.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, vendors, and internal
teams.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized and accredited university.
- 3 years of experience supporting large scale infrastructure or city development projects.
- Exposure to government or semi-government programs and projects is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of project planning, cost control, scheduling, and construction coordination principles.
- Familiarity with project management and reporting tools such as
Primavera P6 and/or MS Project is
preferred.- Strong coordination, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a willingness to learn.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary
teams
