Role Overview:
Dar is seeking experienced and talented Senior Electrical Engineers with proven PMC expertise and strong design background to join its distinguished Engineering team.
Responsibilities:
Support the design and development of electrical systems for major infrastructure and building projects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Assist in PMC (Project Management Consultancy) activities such as reviewing designs, coordinating with contractors, and supporting project documentation. Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements to confirm alignment with project requirements. Ensure assigned tasks are delivered within project timelines, budgets, and quality frameworks.
Requirements:
Electrical degree from an accredited university. Minimum 9 years’ experience since Graduation. Strong background in both design and PMC (Project Management Consultancy) roles. Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, ETAP, Dialux, or similar). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and under the direction of a manager. Previous consultancy experience in the GCC region is an advantage. Job Summary:The Landscaping & Irrigation Specialist is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and optimization of landscaping and irrigation systems. This role ensures the health, appearance, and sustainability of grounds and green spaces, while efficiently managing water resources. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with a strong understanding of horticulture, irrigation technology, and preventative maintenance practices. Key Responsibilities:
Landscaping Maintenance & Operations:Maintain lawns, flower beds, trees, shrubs, and other landscaped areas, ensuring a visually appealing and safe environment. Perform seasonal planting, pruning, mulching, fertilizing, and pest control following best horticultural practices. Monitor plant health and diagnose diseases, pests, and soil deficiencies, implementing appropriate treatments. Operate landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools safely and efficiently. Maintain records of landscaping activities, plant inventory, and maintenance schedules.
Irrigation System Management:Install, operate, and maintain irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip lines, valves, and controllers. Inspect irrigation systems regularly to identify leaks, blockages, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs. Adjust irrigation schedules based on seasonal needs, weather conditions, and water conservation practices. Coordinate with water management teams to ensure compliance with local water regulations and sustainability initiatives.
Maintenance & Safety:Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and irrigation systems to prevent breakdowns. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations. Maintain clean and organized storage areas for tools, fertilizers, and chemicals. Respond promptly to urgent landscaping or irrigation issues.
