Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
• Oversee all accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, payroll, tax filings, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial stability.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements. Compliance & Internal Controls
• Ensure adherence to tax regulations, healthcare financial policies, and audit requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as needed.
Operational Finance
• Handle billing, invoicing, and collections for medical services.
Recording journal entries in the system.
• Manage vendor payments, payroll processing, and employee reimbursements.
• Ensure accurate inventory and fixed asset accounting for medical equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate and prepare reports for bank and governmental and private lenders communication and loan applications
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, hospitals, or medical operations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, DAFTARA, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a standalone finance role.
