Summary:
We are seeking a Credit Supervisor to oversee our credit department and ensure the efficient operation of credit functions within our organization.
Job Responsibility:
- Supervise and lead a team of credit analysts to assess creditworthiness of customers and evaluate credit applications.
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to mitigate credit risk and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and manage the organization's overall credit exposure and collections process.
- Review credit limits and terms for customers and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Handle escalated customer credit issues and negotiate payment arrangements when necessary.
- Generate reports on credit performance and provide recommendations for improvement to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in credit management.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven work experience as a Credit Supervisor or similar role in credit management.
- Strong understanding of credit principles, risk assessment, and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credit management software.
