About the role

We are looking for a Data Science Intern toassistwith providing support to one of our clients and working on AI use cases. You will work under the guidance of experienced Data Scientists andutilizetheir skills toanalyzedata, develop machine-learning models, andidentifypatterns in large datasets. You will gain hands-on experience in the field of Data Science and contribute to projects that will provide valuable insights and solutions for our clients.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with the client and Data Science team toidentifybusiness needs and define project goals andobjectives. 
• Assistwithanalyzingdata, statistical analysis, and the development of machine learning models. 
• Support with the design and execution of experiments and simulations to detect patterns, trends, and insights in data. 
• Handel the development of data visualizations and dashboards to communicate results and insights to stakeholders. 
• Participate in team meetings and discussions, share progress updates, and provide suggestions for improving project outcomes. 
• Assistwith the data preparation process, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and data transformation. 
• Research new data sources, technologies, and techniques to improve the quality and accuracy of data analyses and models. 
• Participate in company-organized training programs, learning opportunities, and sessions to improve skills in the Data Science field. 
• Maintain confidentiality and security of the client's data and information. 

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields.
• Proficiencyin programming languages such as Python, and familiarity with SQL.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, and experience in working with data visualization tools likePowerBI.
• Experience in version control systems, such as Git.
• Familiarity with containerization frameworks, such as Docker.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to think creatively and criticallyanalyzedata toidentifytrends and insights
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to multitask, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail,time management, and organizationalskills.
