Business Development Manager

Location:

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Full-time / On-site with some field work)



Role Purpose:

The Business Development Manager drives company growth by opening new markets and channels (especially B2B, wholesale, and occasions), building strategic partnerships, and converting opportunities into profitable contracts that support the company’s vision for expansion and profitability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an annual business development plan aligned with the company strategy and sales/profitability targets.
  • Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities (corporates, hotels, cafés, government entities, major events) and build long‑term relationships with them.
  • Develop tailored value propositions and packages for wholesale and B2B clients in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Lead negotiations of commercial contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company (price, volume, commitment period, payment terms).
  • Analyze sales and market data and propose initiatives to increase revenue and improve margins across existing and new channels.
  • Work closely with Marketing to design campaigns targeting new segments (e.g., hospitality companies, employee gifting, official occasions).
  • Monitor satisfaction of key accounts and propose plans to retain them and grow their annual spend.
  • Prepare regular reports for top management on new opportunities, deals in the pipeline, and revenue forecasts.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Development or B2B Sales, preferably in Food & Beverage or luxury consumer products.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth and/or opening new channels/markets.
  • Strong ability to build relationships, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Solid understanding of the Saudi/GCC market and characteristics of corporate and government buyers.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to use Excel and sales reports to support decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Arabic, with good command of English.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize opportunities, and manage a sales pipeline.
  • High level of ownership, initiative, and result‑orientation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams.
