Job Title: IT Manager Role Purpose: The IT Manager is responsible for leading and managing the company’s IT function, ensuring the reliability and stability of IT systems and infrastructure that support daily business operations. The role provides direction to the IT team, coordinates with business departments, and oversees system improvements in line with business needs and objectives. Direct Reporting Relationships: IT Technical Manager. Key Activities:• Oversee the operation and maintenance of the company’s IT systems, including ERP and other business applications.• Guide the team in implementing system updates and enhancements.• Monitor system performance and ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner.• Oversee IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user devices.• Ensure basic cybersecurity controls, data protection, and backup procedures are in place.• Coordinate with external service providers when required.• Organize and supervise IT support activities across the organization.• Monitor service quality and response times for user support requests.• Oversee IT access and system setup for new employees.• Support IT planning activities in coordination with management.• Prioritize IT initiatives based on business requirements.• Recommend practical system improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.• Monitor basic IT performance indicators.• Prepare concise IT status reports for management as required.• Maintain oversight of IT assets and software licenses. Industry / Domain: Construction Necessary Knowledge and Experience:• 8–12 years of experience in Information Technology.• Previous experience supervising or managing IT teams.• Practical knowledge of business systems, IT infrastructure, and user support. Education and Certification Minimum Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.• Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, M. Sc. IT) is an advantage.
