Director of Fleet & Bus Operations Reporting to: CEOLocation: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
We are a leading transportation company seeking a high-caliber, strategic leader to fill the role of Director of Fleet & Bus Operations. This is a critical executive position where you will take full ownership of our mass transit and bus division, with a direct reporting line to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). We are looking for a "Fleet Expert" who possesses the vision to scale operations, optimize efficiency, and drive profitability across our large-scale fleet. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies for a massive fleet of buses. Fleet & Operations Management: Oversee the entire bus lifecycle, including scheduling, route planning, fleet utilization, and maintenance optimization. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure 100% continuous compliance with The General Syndicate of Cars (Naqaba) and The Transport General Authority (TGA) regulations. P&L Management: Full accountability for the division's budget, reducing operational burn, and maximizing ROI from mass transit contracts and seasonal projects (Hajj & Umrah). Performance Reporting: Deliver high-level performance insights and KPIs directly to the CEO and the Board. Requirements Minimum of 12+ years of experience in the transport sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director or Head of Operations). Deep specialized expertise in managing large-scale bus fleets (Mass Transit, School Transport, Ground Passenger Transportation or Hajj/Umrah operations). Proven track record of dealing with Saudi regulatory bodies (Naqaba and TGA). Strong financial acumen with extensive experience in P&L Management and strategic budgeting. Decisive leadership style with the ability to manage large, diverse field and administrative teams.
