Job Summary:The Planning Engineer will work on a government project focused on land grant closure procedures and land regulation. The role involves supporting urban planning activities, reviewing land data and layouts, and contributing to regulatory and planning processes in compliance with approved municipal laws and regulations, in coordination with relevant governmental entities.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in urban planning or planning-related projects. Experience working on government projects or regulatory-based planning assignments. Good knowledge of urban planning regulations, municipal bylaws, and land use systems. Familiarity with land grant closure procedures, land regularization, or regulatory planning processes. Ability to review and verify planning layouts and land-related documentation. Basic knowledge of title deeds, land surveys, and property boundaries (an advantage). Proficiency in the following software; Auto CAD, GIS and Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop,Experience in using government digital platforms and managing official transactions. Fluency in Arabic; proficiency in English is preferred.
Responsibilities:Prepare and review planning layouts related to land grant closure procedures. Analyze land use and ensure compliance with applicable planning regulations. Review and verify land data, layouts, and planning requirements. Coordinate with internal teams, governmental entities, and relevant stakeholders. Prepare technical reports and planning notes for assigned cases. Follow up on planning procedures until completion in accordance with regulations. Ensure compliance with governance policies and official procedures. Support the successful delivery of project objectives.
