As an Associate Director in Building Structures, you will provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for the structural engineering discipline across major and complex projects. You will be responsible for driving innovation, ensuring technical excellence, and managing client relationships at the highest level. This role involves shaping business strategy, leading multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the growth and reputation of the organization. 



Responsibilities:
  • Lead the structural engineering function across multiple large-scale projects, ensuring delivery to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.  
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise on complex structural challenges.  
  • Define and implement technical strategies, design standards, and best practices for the discipline.  
  • Oversee resource planning, project budgets, and schedules to ensure successful delivery and profitability.  
  • Drive innovation in structural design, digital engineering, and sustainability initiatives.  
  • Mentor and develop senior leaders, engineers, and technical teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.  
  • Represent the company in high-level client meetings, industry forums, and conferences, contributing to thought leadership and brand positioning.  
  • Support business development through strategic proposals, bids, and client presentations, helping secure major projects.  
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and regulatory requirements across all projects.  
  • Maintain governance over quality assurance processes, risk management, and contractual obligations. 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)  
  • Minimum 20+ years of experience in structural engineering, including leadership roles on iconic and complex building projects  
  • Proven track record in managing large teams and delivering high-value projects  
  • Expertise in steel and concrete design and advanced structural analysis  
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE, KSA, and international design codes  
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic growth and business development initiatives
