Job Title: Logistics Specialist - Saudi National Location: Riyadh, KSAIn this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all activities relating to the extraction, delivery and installation of products and accessories, either directly to customers or through wholesalers and distributors. With hands-on experience on import/export and regional distribution experience.
Responsibilities:• Ensure regular and effective communication within the business and externally with 3rd parties. In the internal business, developing strong relationships with the Sales and Customer Service Departments is paramount to your success in this role • Ensure planning of D&I in accordance with the CPD • Maintain the ERP system, ensuring alignment of accounting with physical stock, conducting variance analyses and periodical stock-counting • Monitor the local stock and rotation index, ensuring the proper governance of stock management • Address problems with order flow/shipping delays/quality-control issues, monitor deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction and keep accurate logs of all transportation and inventory • Check 3PL invoices and accounting, perform cost accounting and variance analyses, periodically audit 3PL delivery and installation and capabilities (skill matrix), coordinating any specific training activities to ensure that 3PL provide a service in line with the companies brand positioning • Customs & Duties process management
Requirements:• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management or a relevant field • Ideally around 2-6 years’ relevant experience as a Logistics Specialist and/or working in the Logistics field • Experience in managing 3PL relationships in terms of contracts, KPIs, monthly meeting reviews and SLA improvement • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders (warehouse, finance, sales, HQ)• Strong communications skills, both in terms of building internal relationships with key teams and liaising with ware-house management and in/out logistics flow management • An in-depth understanding of and experience in using SAP and, ideally, advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office package. ERP exposure (SAP / Oracle / similar strongly preferred). • Some knowledge of the fitness industry, performance, health and product use would be a plus.
