Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Shikra System Engineer – Expert to support the Maintenance & Technical Support Depot (MTSD) and Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF).

The role involves advanced system support, diagnostics, maintenance, and coordination with European contractor experts to ensure continuous operational readiness of the Shikra radar and C2 systems.

Candidates currently based in Europe are welcome to apply. Relocation to Saudi Arabia is required.

???? Key Responsibilities

• Support the MTSD RSADF Officer-in-Charge by providing expert technical advice and assistance within the Shikra system specialty
• Monitor and analyze operational availability, Shikra system performance, and support chain effectiveness
• Evaluate performance of Shikra systems, data handling, and communication equipment
• Monitor Built-In Test Equipment (BITE) hardware and software, analyze results, and recommend improvements
• Perform intermediate-level field maintenance (FM) within the assigned specialty
• Conduct diagnostic checks, troubleshooting, and repair of radar and C2 systems to ensure operational readiness
• Diagnose and isolate complex electronic faults across hardware, software, and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs)
• Support Mobile Maintenance Team (MMT) operations, including travel to remote sites for software maintenance, troubleshooting, and On-the-Job Training (OJT)
• Coordinate with contractor experts in Europe to resolve complex system malfunctions when required

???? Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operation and maintenance of PSR/SSR Radars, C2, and communication systems
• Hands-on experience in:
• Installation
• Testing
• Integration
• System upgrades and modifications
• Strong technical background in:
• Radar systems (Primary & Secondary)
• Plot extractors and interface equipment
• Antennas, processors, computers
• Monitoring systems, data transmission, and power systems
• Experience working in complex, multicultural, and matrix environments
• Good understanding of contractor support services and customer interaction

• Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Radar Technology
• Specialized training and certifications in radar systems and/or C2 systems
• Proven specialization in GM200 Radar and CONTROL View SHIKRA equipment (hardware, software, operation, and maintenance)
• Post-hiring technical training and certification will be provided in France
• Full professional proficiency in English, French, and Arabic, both spoken and written.
