Role Summary
The Senior Cybersecurity Architect is responsible for independently leading complex cybersecurity architecture initiatives across systems, networks, and emerging technologies. The role provides deep technical expertise to ensure secure-by-design solutions, identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks, and embed security requirements throughout the system and acquisition lifecycle.
This role acts as a subject matter expert driving innovation, architectural consistency, and continuous improvement of the organization’s cybersecurity posture.
Role Responsibilities
Candidate should be Capable of handling tasks independently with Strong capability to lead complex tasks mainly including but not limited to the following Deep expertise sought as a resource & drives innovation and improvement.
- Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity reviews and gap analyses of existing and proposed systems and architectures.
- Identify security weaknesses and develop documented risk management plans to address identified gaps.
- Analyze candidate system and network architectures and allocate appropriate security services.
- Select and justify security mechanisms and controls aligned with architectural and operational requirements.
- Translate user needs and functional requirements into effective security architecture designs.
- Develop and maintain detailed functional specifications documenting architecture decisions and development processes.
- Define and document security architecture and system security requirements across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle.
- Design secure architectures for proof-of-concept and pilot projects, particularly in emerging technology areas.
- Interpret, assess, and document technical diagrams, system blueprints, and specifications.
- Determine, document, and assess security controls for systems and networks.
- Evaluate and document the security impact of new systems, integrations, and interfaces.
- Design and integrate multilevel security architectures to support complex security and segregation requirements.
- Lead complex cybersecurity architecture tasks independently and contribute expert guidance to stakeholders.

Skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
- +15 years’ experience in IT Security
- Strong IT Architectural knowledge. Data collection, processing and visualization architectures.
- Being able to create high quality and structured technical documentation; Requirements, Architecture, SLAs, Process and Procedures.
Mastering at least two of these domains:
