Role Summary This role will support end-to-end procurement, including vendor sourcing, RFQs, negotiations, purchase orders, and timely delivery. It handles disputes, optimizes spend, maintains supplier agreements, and ensures compliance with HSE and risk policies.
Key Responsibilities Collect data from requesters and clarify purchase requisition details (UOM, need-by date, delivery location, item specifications) Source new vendors and update the Averda Preferred Vendor list Conduct RFQs, select suppliers, review T&Cs, and negotiate commercials Prepare purchase orders as required Ensure timely delivery by monitoring and following up on POsResolve vendor and requester disputes related to quality, service, warranty, and delivery Identify spend optimization opportunities across categories Create, maintain, and amend supplier agreements and contracts Perform vendor market assessment and evaluation Coordinate with the business shared service center for transactional activities Comply with Health, Safety, and Environment policies Support risk management initiatives as directed by line manager
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field CIPS Diploma (Advantageous)
Eligibility Saudi Nationals only
Experience5 years of experience in maintenance and spare parts procurement
Technical Qualifications Proficient in MS application (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and Power Point) Oracle / Sage / SAP advantageous
Skills and Knowledge Teamwork, Planning & Organizing Problem solving Negotiation skills with suppliers of different levels Customer focus English is a must (written and spoken)
