Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our market presence within the Operating Room (OR) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) segments. You will engage with healthcare providers, build strong relationships, and deliver tailored solutions to meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and grow market share in the OR and ICU sectors. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, nurses, and hospital decision-makers, to promote our medical devices and equipment. Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for healthcare professionals to ensure optimal utilization and satisfaction. Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials that highlight product benefits and innovations. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and inform sales strategies. Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to management. Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent our brand and expertise. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and customer support, to facilitate smooth product launches and resolve client issues. Develop and implement in-service training programs for hospital staff to enhance user proficiency and product understanding. Gather feedback from customers and provide insights to the product development team for continuous improvement. Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing with healthcare institutions to maximize revenue. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure the timely availability of products for clients. Stay informed about regulatory changes and compliance requirements affecting the medical device industry.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in the medical devices sector, specifically within the OR and ICU environments. Strong understanding of clinical workflows and familiarity with surgical and critical care equipment. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work cross-functionally and lead projects with multiple stakeholders (internal & external).
