Context

This entry-level role is designed for a recent graduate eager to build a career in proposals and bid management within the engineering and infrastructure sector. Working under the guidance of senior proposal and business development teams, you will support the end-to-end preparation of high-quality proposals and tender submissions, ensuring compliance with client requirements and alignment with company strategy. 




Missions/Main Duties

  • Assist in the development of technical and commercial proposals, including collecting inputs, drafting sections, and coordinating contributions from engineering, planning, and commercial teams.
  • Review tender documents (RFPs/RFQs) to extract requirements, deadlines, compliance criteria, and submission formats; help create compliance matrices and checklists.
  • Support bid planning and coordination, including timelines, action trackers, and stakeholder communication to ensure on-time, compliant submissions.
  • Compile and format proposal content such as project methodologies, team CVs, case studies, organizational charts, and capability statements.
  • Perform basic quantity take-offs, data analysis, and support pricing inputs under the guidance of the commercial team.
  • Conduct background research on clients, competitors, and market trends to inform win strategies and differentiators.
  • Ensure brand consistency and quality across proposal materials, adhering to templates, style guidelines, and document control standards.
  • Assist with pre-qualification submissions, registration processes, and compliance documentation (e.g., certificates, ISO, HSE, legal forms).
  • Participate in review cycles, capturing feedback and implementing revisions.
  • Maintain proposal libraries, CV databases, project references, and standardized content to enable efficient bid development.
  • Support post-submission follow-ups, clarifications, and lessons-learned activities to improve future bids.

Profile/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) or related discipline. Degrees in Business, Project Management, or Quantity Surveying may be considered with strong technical aptitude.
  • Recent graduate (0–2 years of experience) with internships or project experience in engineering, consulting, or construction preferred.
  • Saudi national (citizen) in line with local hiring priorities and Saudization initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English;
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to interpret technical requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Basic understanding of engineering concepts, project delivery frameworks, and commercial principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with document formatting and templates; familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and InDesign is a plus.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate across teams.
  • Analytical mindset: comfortable with data organization, simple calculations, and supporting pricing inputs.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
