Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive AWS-led growth for IBM Consulting in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role is a core part of IBM's long-term AWS Strategic Collaboration Agreement and focuses on building senior client relationships, shaping opportunities, and executing joint go-to-market initiatives with AWS across priority KSA accounts.
The role requires credibility and confidence engaging with CXO-level stakeholders, positioning IBM Consulting as a trusted transformation partner for cloud, GenAI, and large-scale digital programmes aligned to Vision 2030.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain trusted relationships with CXO and senior executive stakeholders across public and private sector clients
Own AWS go-to-market activity for assigned KSA accounts, aligned to joint IBM-AWS account plans
Identify, qualify, and develop AWS-led consulting opportunities, from early shaping through to contract closure
Act as a strategic advisor to clients on cloud, GenAI, and business transformation agendas
Partner closely with AWS field teams, solution architects, and IBM delivery leaders to build differentiated value propositions
Drive pipeline growth, opportunity governance, and accurate forecasting in line with agreed targets
Support AWS-funded initiatives including proof-of-concepts, pilots, and joint marketing activities

Required technical and professional expertise
* Deep Expertise in Transformational Value Propositions: Proven ability to develop and progress innovative solutions that drive significant business impact for clients, leveraging a broad range of capabilities.
* Experience with C-Suite Engagement: Established track record of fostering strong relationships with senior executives, understanding their needs, and identifying opportunities to deliver high-value solutions.
* Cross-Unit Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively within a consulting organization, with other business units, and with key alliance partners to shape and deliver differentiated value propositions.
* Solution Design and Development: Deep understanding of how to design and develop tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of strategic clients, leveraging a full range of capabilities.
* Strategic Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, driving growth and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
Required Skills and ExperienceProven experience building and managing CXO-level client relationships
Strong background in business development or consulting sales within AWS or cloud-based solutions
Solid understanding of AWS services and enterprise cloud transformation use cases
Demonstrated success selling complex consulting or technology solutions
Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills, and opportunity-shaping capability
