-Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage a wood manufacturing facility specializing in furniture, doors, kitchens, and cabinetry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, quality control, team management, and improving operational efficiency while ensuring high craftsmanship and on-time delivery.
-Key Responsibilities:Manage daily factory operations and production planning Supervise production staff, technicians, and supervisors Ensure product quality meets company and client standards Optimize material usage and minimize waste Oversee operation and maintenance of machinery (CNC, cutting, edge banding, pressing, sanding, etc.) Coordinate with design, sales, and installation teams Implement and enforce workplace safety standards Monitor production costs, efficiency, and KPIsTrain and develop factory employees
-Requirements:Proven experience as a Factory Manager or Production Manager in the wood or furniture industry Strong knowledge of wood materials, MDF, plywood, veneers, and finishing processes Experience managing CNC machines and woodworking equipment Ability to read technical drawings and production plans Strong leadership and organizational skills Proficiency in wood design and manufacturing software such as Plyboard or similar programs
